"We are happy to just stay on top of the ladder." Manager JM spoke today after a Real Madrid training session.
"I am not worried if we can be undefeated all season, but of course this would be a magnificant achievement - I do not expect it."
When asked about Barcelona's poor start to the new campaign, JM stated he was still more than cautious of his team's biggest rivals.
"They will be right there behind us very soon, this I am sure."
"But that is where they will end up also - behind us."
With Real Madrid now out of the Copa Del Rey, all focus and attention has officially returned to La Liga and Champions League, where they face an uphill battle in the group stages with no wins, 2 draws and a loss from 3 group games.
Barcelona on the other hand look more than comfortable in their group at this stage with 2 wins and 1 draw from 3 games.
