Time to celebrate...but job only half done!

This was truly an opportunity for players, staff and most importantly the fans of Real Madrid to celebrate. They had achieved what many had said they couldn't do - they had just eliminated their arch rivals and the team most would call 'the best in the world' - Barcelona, from the Champions League in the Round of 16.

"I feel we can really enjoy tonight - the feeling here at home at our Stadium is amazing." JM said after the famous victory.

"We came here with a job to do, I wanted not to concede anything today knowing this result this would send us through - and although we did concede one, I am pleased we were able to score three."

"But this is not a time to lift the trophy yet, we must push on and now look to Juventus before anything else."
"I can say our priority as always is winning the Liga, which we have a comfortable lead right now, and lifting the Champions League trophy this season."
"This was my promise to the fans of Madrid at the start of this season and we are well and truly on course for this."

Real disappointment for Barcelona. (Sorry about the pun)
