We are down, but not defeated!

In what has been a horrific 24 hours for his team, Real Madrid boss JM has asked his team to use this anger and take it out on their opposition in the remaining games of the La Liga season.

A bad run of form leading into the Champions League debacle saw arch rivals Barcelona run down a significant league to now lead the La Liga race with under 10 games remaining. And things got even worse for Madrid once they discovered their Champions League dreams had been removed from them.

"Yes we are down in spirit at this moment, but we will fight to the end because we are Real Madrid and we owe it to our fans - to our history." JM spoke before a waiting media huddle today

"My players are angry, yes! But we must use this anger and play to win every last game this season. We cannot let it all go because of someone stupid ruining our season."
"Champions League will come again and we will be ready."
